On arrival at Siliguri Airport/Railway Station/Bus Station you will be met by a representative of the Tamu Homestay Tumsong , and transferred to Tumsong via road as part of your itinerary for this Trip to Darjeeling. As you near this beautiful hill station, you will notice the landscape turn from a smoky grey to a vibrant green. Enjoy the ride through Tea Garden, forest.

After you arrive at the homestay, we would like to give you a warm welcome with a Drink. We will show you around the Homestay pointing out the facilities and amenities that are available for you you.

The serving time for lunch in Tamu Homestay Tumsong is 1:00 PM- 2:30 PM. Lunch is typically thali. A thali is a popular Indian meal that consists of a variety of dishes served on a large platter. There are two types of thalis –
vegetarian and non-vegetarian.

• After the morning breakfast we will take you for all day Darjeeling Sightseeing. We begin with some of the fav spot.

• Ghoom Monastery: Visit the Ghoom Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries in Darjeeling, to see the beautiful Buddhist murals and artifacts.

• Batasia Loop: After watching the Ghoom Railway station  head to Batasia Loop, a spiral railway track that offers panoramic views of the hills and valleys.

• Himalayan Mountaineering Institute: Visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute to learn about the history of mountaineering in the Himalayas and see the exhibits of mountaineering equipment.
• Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park: This is a great place to see rare and endangered animals such as the snow leopard, red panda, and Himalayan black bear.
• We will stop for a lunch. After that we will continue with the journey

• Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre: This center is dedicated to preserving Tibetan culture and offers workshops on traditional Tibetan crafts such as weaving and carpet-making.

• Darjeeling Mall Road: End your day by taking a stroll on the Mall Road, a popular shopping street lined with restaurants, cafes, and souvenir shops.
• We will reach the homestay and most probably will have the dinner in Homestay

After having your breakfast, start driving towards Mirik in Darjeeling. As you drive through picturesque valleys and lush green meadows, experience the soft breeze caressing your face and tranquility, calling you closer. Mirik is one of the most serene tourist attractions of Darjeeling.

Relax by the beautiful Sumendu Lake and let the pleasing weather and breathtaking views leave you mesmerized. Then, enjoy boating, horse riding, and canoeing at Mirik.

Mirik is a great location for trekkers as it offers several trails from where tourists can enjoy the view of thick and beautiful forests.

On your way back to Darjeeling, visit Pashupati Market and shop for imported clothes and cosmetics from Thailand. In the evening, we will take a trip to Sukhia pokhri..

We will have the dinner in Homestay

After the morning Breakfast you can arrange a departure from the Tamu Homestay Tumsong. Your departure depends on your schedule Flight/ Train/ Bus. However, we request our fellow guest to make it before 12:00 PM. We will arrange a transport to the destination accordingly. Before leaving your homestay, make sure to settle any outstanding bills or payments.
